I graduated from Old Dominion University in December of 2018 with my Bachelor of Science in Communications and an emphasis on Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. Following graduation, I started my career at a communications firm in the D.C. area that exclusively works with nonprofit organizations all over the world working to advance sustainable social change. After nearly three years of working with more than a dozen clients on nearly every kind of external communications, I moved to another communications firm in the D.C. area. In this role, I supported a national laboratory owned and operated by the United States Department of Energy in their internal communications and partnerships initiatives. I left agency life in 2022 and have been working in the internal communications industry for a not-for-profit since then.
In my rare spare time, I am chasing after my two standard poodles, doing home DIY renovation projects, cooking! Check out my blog where I write about being a first-generation Asian-American woman, a young professional, home cook, wine/beer enthusiast, and more!
